The WWE Ashley Massaro has been fingered in an escort scandal by the FBI and Rolling Stone magazine. Fans of Ashley are trying to say that the girl in the bikini is a dead ringer for Ashley with the same name who is actually the one implicated in the whole mess. It is the same girl in both photos. They both have the same fake breasts that sit high, identical scary jaw lines and heavy masculine brows. Ashley has hosted several E! channel Wild On! episodes and appeared on Breaking Bonaduce as Danny Bonaduce 's personal trainer. Ashley has also hosted Celebrity Death Match and has guest starred on an episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition alongside WWE Superstars John Cena and Batista.

In February 2007, Ashley and Kane filmed an episode of the CW's Smallville that aired on March 22, 2007. In April 2007, Ashley also appeared as a guest on Fuse TV's show The Sauce. On April 20, 2007, Ashley, Torrie Wilson, Maryse, Brooke, Layla El and Kelly Kelly all filmed Timbaland's video, "Throw It on Me" featuring The Hives.

Massaro was a contestant on CBS' Survivor: China. She claims that she approached WWE with the idea of doing the show, and after going through the casting process, she found out she made the show ten days before she had to leave for China to film it. Prior to the experience, Massaro had never been camping before, so to train for the show she had to get used to being outside. She was voted out on the second episode, after six days in China.
